Your consultation is the first step towards a straighter smile. The orthodontist will check your teeth, gums, and jaw to see if metal braces are the right fit. You'll also have the chance to share your smile goals, and together, you and the orthodontist will create a personalized plan to achieve them.
DIGITAL IMPRESSIONS AND IMAGING
To get a complete picture of your smile, your orthodontist will take an X-ray and a digital scan of your teeth. These images help the orthodontist see exactly what's happening beneath the surface, and in multiple angles, then create a precise plan for your treatment.
BONDING
Getting your braces on is a breeze! We'll start by preparing your teeth, then attach the brackets with a special glue and cure them with a light. After that, we'll thread the wire and place color ties of your choosing. In no time, your smile transformation will begin!
FITTING AND NEXT STEPS
To keep your smile on track, we'll schedule regular appointments every 6-8 weeks. At these checkups, we'll monitor your progress together, change wires, and make adjustments. We'll also discuss how your bite is changing and if rubber bands will be needed to help achieve your desired results.
DEBOND DAY!
Get ready to unveil your new smile! At your final appointment, we'll remove your brackets, clean your teeth, and give you a retainer to keep them in place. We'll also provide you with all the information you need to keep your smile looking its best.
